Buccaneers’ Tom Brady posts question to every NFL fan

Brady is already looking forward to next season

By Daniel Canova | Fox News – Feb. 21, 2021

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady won his seventh Super Bowl title, fifth Super Bowl MVP award, and all-but solidified his place among the greatest players in NFL history.

With that said, Brady is already looking forward to next season. He posted a question on Twitter to his 1.7 million followers, asking the same question many football fans across the country are wondering as well.

“Soooo what am I supposed to do for the next 5 months…?” Brady asked.

Brady got some interesting responses.

“join crossword twitter,” ESPN’s Mina Kimes wrote.

“Same thing you’ve done for 21 years, get ready to win your 8th and by succeeding create even more haters. This nation has an avulsion to sustained success. They LOVE the underdog until the underdog becomes the Titan,” Former World Series champion Curt Schilling added.

Here were some other responses to Brady’s question.

Brady, who led the Buccaneers to an 11-5 record in 2020, finished the regular season with 4,633 passing yards and 40 touchdowns.

In Super Bowl LV, he completed 21 of 29 passes for 201 yards with three touchdowns in the Buccaneers’ 31-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

For his performance in the big game, Brady was honored as the game’s MVP. Brady was the first player 40+ years old to win Championship Game/Series MVP in any of the four major North American professional sports leagues (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB).

With the win, the Buccaneers won their first Super Bowl since 2002, and they became the first team to play and win a Super Bowl in their home stadium.

Brady also joined former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos legend Peyton Manning as the only two quarterbacks in league history to win a Super Bowl with two different franchises.

Readers’ comments:

There are lots of people wanting him to ‘use his platform’ to push their agenda. Personally, I’m quite happy with how he uses his platform already … his example shows that setting goals, dreaming big, working hard, making sacrifices and exercising self-discipline works when it comes to making the most of the talent we have.

Amen, don’t give me a reason to quit watching football like LeBron did for basketball . Never watch another NBA game thanks to his hate spewing mouth.

No comparison between the two quarterbacks. Manning is very good but Brady is outstanding. I say this as a (primarily) Steelers and Bradshaw fan. I can’t help admiring what Brady has strived for and achieved, and, unlike some commenting here, I have no envy of who he is and what he has. You can’t short change his incredible achievements, unless you’re a Biden voter.

Can it get any better? Stanley Cup Champs, two wins away from the World Series and now Super Bowl champs. Plus it’s 73 degrees today and not a cloud in the sky. Every patio is packed and everyone has the top down on their car or Jeep. Plus NO ONE is wearing a stupid, useless mask.

Did you mention no state income tax?

Watch every game Tom Brady plays, go to the game and see him in person, take pics because some day you will be able to tell your grand kids that you saw and have pics of the greatest player in NFL history. Kind of like having pics of Babe Ruth.

“all-but solidified his place among the greatest players in NFL history.” Are you kidding me? What does he have to do fly around the stadium before the game?

Fun watching a 40+ year old show the Millennials how hard work and commitment gets things done.

Both of Brady’s knees are in good shape for next year because he has stayed off of them during the national anthem.

Seriously, this is the question all Americans are asking? Not when will we be back to normal? Not how do we support the tens of thousands of illegals coming into our country? Not how do we pay for our gas or heat our homes since we no longer will be energy independent? Not where do the tens of thousands of families who households are unemployed live because the Keystone Pipeline was shut down? Not how do we keep giving billions of taxpayer dollars to countries that want to destroy us but can’t figure out how to help American citizens? Not how to get rid of teachers unions that refuse to return to teaching our children but still are being paid? Not how to stop the bullying by the cancel culture because free speech is no longer tolerated? I think these questions, and many more, should be answered first.

With all due respect to any (and all) quarterbacks who have ever played in the NFL, Brady has logged 10 Super Bowl appearances over a 20 year career in the NFL, winning 7 of them. That’s one SB appearance for every 2 years in the NFL, and one SB ring for every 3 years in the NFL, over a 20 year career. (…NOBODY is EVER likely to match – much less, exceed – that.) Even if you take into account things like “Deflate-Gate” and Belichick’s supposed shenanigans… that’s pretty impressive.

I would love to be a Brady hater. But you can’t deny overwhelming accomplishments. I want to hate him but he is undeniably the best QB of all time, period. I didn’t like TB for many reasons. However, this guy is the greatest at this game. Let it ride until the wheels fall off. It is more fun watching him play the game, then the young prima donnas coming into the league that have not accomplished anything. Also…he is a better role model.

Give those five months to all your kids. That will pay huge dividends once you hang up your uniform.
