An extensive tho’ not exhaustive list of Holy Scripture demonstrating Jesus the Messiah is Jehovah God, the great I Am of Israel
I will add a new title or name or attribute every so often until the list is complete
There is only one God
Deut 6:4 – Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is One.
1 Cor 8:4-6 – Now concerning eating food offered to idols: We know that no idol is real in this world and that there is only one God. For even if there are “gods” in heaven and on earth (as indeed there are many so-called “gods” and “lords”), yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom everything came into being and for whom we live. And there is only one Lord, Jesus the Messiah, through whom everything came into being and through whom we live.
The mystery of election and predestination thru the work of the Triune God
Eph 1:2-10 – Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will — to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.
Eph 1:11-14 – In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.
1 Pe 1:2 – You have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood.
Father, Son and Holy Spirit: In baptism, greeting and benediction
Mat 28:19-20 – Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
1 Pe 1:2 – You have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood.
2 Cor 13:14 – May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Mighty God
Neh 9:32 – Now therefore, our God, the great God, mighty and awesome, who keeps his covenant of love ….
Psa 50: 1 – The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to where it sets.
Isa 1:24 – Therefore the Lord, the LORD Almighty, the Mighty One of Israel ….
Isa 9:6 – For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isa 10:21 – A remnant will return, a remnant of Jacob will return to the Mighty God.
Jer 10:6 – No one is like you, Lord; you are great, and your name is mighty in power.
Jer 32:17-18 – Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. You show love to thousands but bring the punishment for the parents’ sins into the laps of their children after them. Great and mighty God, whose name is the Lord Almighty.
The Only Begotten God reveals the Father
Joh 1:18 – No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father’s side, has made Him known. (NIV)
Joh 1:18 ‘No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.’ (NAS)
Mat 11:25-27 – At that time Jesus declared, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was well-pleasing in Your sight. All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.
God gives us rest
Isa 28:11-12 – Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues God will speak to this people, to whom he said, “This is the resting place, let the weary rest”; and, “This is the place of repose”—but they would not listen.
Isa 57:20-21 – But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, whose waves cast up mire and mud. “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”
Mat 11:18 – Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
We enter into God’s eternal rest only thru the Gospel
Heb 4:1-11 – Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. For we also have had the good news (Gospel) proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed. Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, “So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ”
And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world. For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: “On the seventh day God rested from all his works.” And again in the passage above he says, “They shall never enter my rest.”
Therefore since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience, God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
Almighty God
Note: The whole first chapter of the book of Hebrews adequately shows Jesus to be the very Jehovah God of the Old Testament. Especially note vs 10-12 which are a quote from Psa 102:25-27 which in its context is directly attributed to Jehovah and which the apostle (i.e., the author of Hebrews) is now directly attributing to Jesus.
Joh 1:1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the word was God.
Joh 20:28 – Thomas answered and said to Him, ‘My Lord and my God.’
Col 1:15-20 – The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
Tit 2:13 – While we wait for the blessed hope – the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ ….
Heb 1:3 – The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word.

Heb 1:13 – To which of the angels did God every say, ‘Sit at my right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet?’
2 Pe 1:1 – Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours.
1 Joh 5:20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true. And we are in Him who is true – even in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
Father
Note: Jesus always spoke of God as ‘My Father’ when referring to himself and as ‘Your Father’ whe speaking to others, but never as ‘Our Father’ except when teaching His disciples to pray.
I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God—words of incomparable glory! Jesus had called God habitually His Father, and on one occasion, in His darkest moment, His God. But both are here united, expressing that full-orbed relationship which embraces in its vast sweep at once Himself and His redeemed. Yet, note well, He says not, Our Father and our God. All the deepest of the Church fathers were wont to call attention to this, as expressly designed to distinguish between what God is to Him and to us—His Father essentially, ours not so: our God essentially, His not so: His God only in connection with us: our Father only in connection with Him.

Joh 10:30-33 – ‘I and the Father are One.’ Again the Jews picked up stones to stone Him, but Jesus said to them, ‘I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?’ ‘We are not stoning you for any of these,’ replied the Jews, ‘but for blasphemy, because You, a mere man, claim to be God.’
Joh 10:38 ‘… That you may learn and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.’

Psa 18:2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my Rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Psa 19:14 – … O Jehovah, my rock and my redeemer.
Psa 28:1 – To You I call, O Jehovah my Rock …
Psa 62:1-2 – My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him. He alone is my Rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
Isa 8:13-14 – Jehovah Almighty is the One you are to regard as holy, He is the one you are to fear, He is the one you are to dread, and He will be a sanctuary; but for both houses of Israel He will be stone that causes men to stumble and a Rock that makes them fall.

Act 20:28 – Guard yourselves and the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the Church of God, which He bought with His own blood.
Name

Note: Acts 2:21 and Rom 10:13 are direct quotes from Joel 2:32. The word “Lord” in Joel is the Greek “Kurios” in the Septuagint (the Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures – the Old Testament), this being the common designation for the tetragrammaton YHWH (Yahweh – Jehovah). This same Greek word “Kurios” is used for Lord in the New Testament. Joel is directly stating that whomever shall call upon the name of God – Jehovah – will be saved. Peter in the book of Acts and Paul in his epistle to the Romans are directly quoting Joel when referring to Jesus. By this quote Peter and Paul are explicitly equating Jesus to Jehovah.
