The guy couldn’t put together a Lego house, much less fix anything having to do with a REAL problem. How in the hell he got picked for his job is a mystery to me. Must have been on his knees in the WH for a lonnnnng time.
He is as “qualified” as most all of Biden’s cabinet is. From a real-life standpoint, they are almost all incompetent. Since Biden’s only qualification requirement was that “the boxes are ticked”, this moron fit right in.

Mayor Pete was elevated to this position because he’s a homosexual married to another man and not because he had any real life experience. He wasn’t even a good mayor of a small town. But(t) the democrats are demonstrating that competence is tertiary to ideology. They will elect a nearly brain-dead, stroke-ridden man to Senator and a nearly brain-dead, senile, old, pedophile, plagiarist who can barely string two coherent words together to President. This is because all elected democrats take their marching orders from the cabal that runs the party and they are not allowed to step out of line.

My cmnt: To be completely fair Buttigieg is, like Obama, a charismatic speaker who sounds like he knows what he’s talking about. Democrats are highly susceptible to these type of politicians and so the entire country suffers from them over and over again. This article has been edited for space, brevity and accuracy.

Why it matters: A modest Cabinet role has become a political albatross for one of the Democratic Party’s brightest young stars. Republicans have sought to make Buttigieg the face of the transport disruptions, while Democrats say his crisis leadership is proving his political mettle.
What’s happening: A safety system outage forced the Federal Aviation Administration to temporarily ground all U.S. flights Wednesday for the first time since the 9/11 attacks.
- Just weeks earlier, a systemwide meltdown at Southwest resulted in thousands of flight cancellations and delays over the holidays.
- Late last year, Congress had to step in to avert a nationwide freight rail strike after union workers rejected a Biden administration-brokered deal over the lack of paid sick leave.
- Meanwhile, global supply chain snarls linked to the democrats incompetent handling of the COVID-19 pandemic have caused massive disruptions to U.S. ports dating back to 2021, resulting in widespread product shortages and persistent inflation.
The latest: President Biden has ordered Buttigieg to conduct an investigation of the flight system outage, which the FAA has preliminarily traced to a “damaged database file.” In response to a question at a Wednesday briefing, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed that Biden still has confidence in Buttigieg.

Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., said he is “not surprised” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg “had no idea what happened” to cause the FAA debacle that led to grounded U.S. flights early Wednesday, telling “Fox & Friends” host Brian Kilmeade the cluelessness is “consistent” with Buttigieg’s record in the role.
BRIAN KILMEADE: Pete Buttigieg communicated to the president that he doesn’t really know anything yet. Are you surprised the secretary of transportation doesn’t know anything?
REP. ANDY BIGGS: I’m not surprised. It’s unpleasant that I have to say that. But I’m not surprised that he doesn’t know anything because that’s consistent with how he’s handled any kind of question or issue that we’ve had in our transportation sector since he became secretary. But what’s chilling about this today is the fact that this is happening. We’ve known about apparently overnight, and he has no idea what happened or how they’re going to fix it and how long it’s going to last. That has an enormous impact on our economy and travelers today.

His appointment was a payoff for dropping out of the race. Nothing more. A real press would have questioned his complete lack of any ‘transportation experience’, but they passed because he came from their preferred political party and checked the right demographic box.
