My cmnt: Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo (how’s that for two powerful, influential democrat royalty combined into one person) has all the white privilege it is possible to have. She’s white, female, pretty, from a rich family, went to an elite university, born and raised in New York City, and now needs a way to call attention to herself and make some money the democrat way – without a real job and without doing any real work.

My cmnt: In the film “Coal Miner’s Daughter” Loretta Lynn’s future husband, Doolittle Lynn, is told by the town’s doctor, ‘Mooney, you got three choices in Butcher Holler. You can coal mine, moonshine or move on down the line.’ Lynn had been a coal miner and moonshine runner (hence the nickname “Mooney″) in Kentucky before he married Loretta in 1948 when she was just 14.

My cmnt: Likewise, if you’re born a rich democrat you got three choices. Work for a non-profit, go into politics, or work for a democrat already at a non-profit or in politics. If you happen to be the son or daughter of a very powerful democrat politician you can now also sell your ‘art’ as Michaela and Hunter have done. If you happen to be that very powerful democrat politician you can write a book with a huge cash advance that you keep whether or not anyone buys your stupid book as Obama and Cuomo have done.

My cmnt: So, Michaela “comes out” as – wait for it – a woman. Yes, we now have a gender category called demisexual, a category coined for no other reason than to gain a little notoriety and hope for some protection from the LGBTQwerty hounds looking for someone to bay at.

My cmnt: Now after all of this pointless, free media attention she can cash in with a website to sell spirituality and healing, that is new-age speak for pixie dust. People have been buying snake oil in this country for a long time. Why? Because if you believe you can fly, you can fly.

Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo, daughter of Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, announced this week that she’s “demisexual,” apparently meaning she’s only attracted to individuals with whom she has an emotional connection.

“When I was in elementary school, I feared that I was lesbian. When I was in middle school, I came out to my family and close friends as bisexual,” Michaela said during a livestream with Donato Tramuto, the former CEO of Tivity Health and a donor to the Robert F. Kennedy Center, according to the New York Post.

Michaela went on to say that she’s “always dreamed of a world in which nobody will have to come out, because everybody’s sexuality will be assumed fluid […] but in a world that force-feeds cisgender heterosexuality, coming out of the closet is a lifelong process of unpacking internalized social constructions and stigmas.”

My cmnt: Wow, after four years and hundreds of thousands of dollars later, this is what she learned at Brown. Nothing at all useful for becoming a productive member of society doing something other people actually want or need to have done (i.e., home schooling mom, doctor, dentist, nurse or a hundred other healthcare specialties; policeman, delivery driver, electrician, computer analyst, engineer, school teacher, accountant, farmer, welder, plumber, mechanic or a thousand other jobs and careers that do actual real work.)

After she came out as part of “queer” month, the 23-year-old said, she was fearful she’d be perceived as “attention-seeking,” acknowledging that it’s “hip or cool to not be hetero in my liberal bubble,” the Post highlighted.

My cmnt: Do ya think? She does appear to be one thing her famous papa is not: Someone who speaks honestly and candidly.

Daily Wire Emeritus Ben Shapiro hit on the same note Tuesday, underscoring that people who are only attracted to others they have an emotional bond with generally describes women.

“Being a member of the intersectional coalition is now so alluring that we’re making up terms like ‘demisexual’ so that people can join,” Shapiro posted to Instagram.

“According to WebMD’s new idiotic definition, ‘Demisexual people only feel sexually attracted to someone when they have an emotional bond.’ This is also known as, on average, being a woman,” he emphasized.

Singer Demi Lovato is one of a number of Hollywood elites to join-in on the trend. In May, Lovato announced that she’s officially changing her pronouns to “they/them” and identifying as “nonbinary.”

The pronouns, she said in a video posted online, “best represents the fluidity I feel in my gender expression, and allows me to feel most authentic and true to the person I both know I am and still am discovering.”

The 28-year-old added that she recently “came into my truth,” and will continue to share these details with her fans.

“Today is a day I’m so happy to share more of my life with you all- I am proud to let you know that I identify as non-binary & will officially be changing my pronouns to they/them moving forward,” Lovato posted in a Twitter thread. 

“This has come after a lot of healing & self-reflective work. I’m still learning & coming into myself, & I don’t claim to be an expert or a spokesperson. Sharing this with you now opens another level of vulnerability for me,” she continued. “I’m doing this for those out there that haven’t been able to share who they truly are with their loved ones. Please keep living in your truths & know I am sending so much love your way xox.”

In March, the former Disney star announced that she is “sexually fluid” and “pansexual,” meaning she is attracted to “anything, really,” The Daily Wire reported:

“I’m so fluid now, and a part of the reason why I am so fluid is because I was, like, super closeted off,” Lovato said.

“You mean sexually fluid?” [podcast host Joe] Rogan asked. “You like girls? You like boys?”

“Yeah, anything, really,” Lovato replied.

“What do they call that? Like pansexual or something like that?” Rogan asked.

“Yeah, pansexual,” the singer responded.

‘Demisexual’: Using Meaningless Identities To Get In On The Victimhood Grift

But then why is “demisexual” even defined as a sexual orientation, and why does it have its own flag, a strangely diluted and non-aesthetically pleasing rebranding of the South African flag?

Because membership of a minority victim group has become so attractive that demonstrable non-victims have to invent nonsensical categories which allow them admission under the ever-expanding LGBTQ+ banner.

Kennedy-Cuomo, arguably among the most privileged members of our society by nature of her surname alone, seemingly has a deep and narcissistic need to be a victim. But, unfortunately for Kennedy-Cuomo, she’s just a privileged woman who isn’t a member of one of the “real” victim groups. Luckily for her, there’s an app for that.

This absurd story raises two serious questions. First, where does this end? Second, what does it say about society more broadly?

The ending to this selfish desire for self-victimhood is inevitable: every single individual will have their own category. Each person will have their own flag, and these flags will combine under a colossal umbrella of a society of victims, with an ever-increasing application of specificity to one’s unimportant characteristics. The result will be a strange form of individualism, in which our value as individuals is meaningless beyond the meaningless variables we retroactively create to “describe” ourselves.

The question “what does it say about society more broadly” is comparatively simple: Our culture is so monumentally successful in terms of fundamental equality and opportunity that even the most privileged among us want to get in on the nationwide grift that is identity politics.

When people are clamoring to be “victims,” is a victim really a victim anymore?

Andrew Cuomo’s ‘Demisex’ Daughter Selling Online Merch, Including Glittery Vulva Painting

Disgraced former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s daughter Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo has launched an online store on the Etsy website hawking New Age and offbeat items, including a painted image of a woman’s vulva.

The U.K. Daily Mail said the 24-year-old is trying to use the same theme as actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who has built an online wellness and lifestyle company Goop, which is valued at $250 million.

Kennedy-Cuomo’s online store, MicLovesMe, launched in 2020 and has garnered $11,000 in sales, the New York Post reported.

The Mail reported:

Sold-out items include $44 “candle magic” kits, $33 resin rings, a $66 opal “grounding” bracelet, and “Divine Yoni Wall Art” — a $77.77 acrylic vulva painting with sequins and glitter. Michaela explained in the painting’s description that it was “priced at $77.77 because 7777 signifies wisdom, intuition, great intellect, and success.” Another more expensive item featured on the shop was the $88 “Angel’s Breath Clutch” made out of resin and flowers, including rose buds to “calm the spirit” and lavender that “brings peace.”

The Brown University graduate shared a photo of the wall art on the MicLovesMe Instagram page in November, explaining: “Creating this artwork was an exercise for me in reclaiming and redefining my power portal.”

The MicLovesMe Etsy shop has a total of 442 sales and an average review rating of five-out-of-five stars since it launched nearly two years ago

Kennedy-Cuomo gained attention in the media last summer when she posted on Instagram that she is “‘demisexual’ — a term used to define people who can only feel sexual attraction when they have an emotional bond with someone.”

“When I was in elementary school, I feared that I was lesbian,” she said in an interview with Donato Tramuto, the former CEO of Tivity Health. “When I was in middle school, I came out to my family and close friends as bisexual.”

“When I was in high school, I discovered pansexuality and thought, ‘That’s the flag for me’ And I’ve recently learned more about demisexuality, and have believed that that identity resonates with me most.”

My cmnt: It’s obvious you’re a normal, real girl who ‘feared’ being a lesbian so lucky for you that you found a name for that besides the insult of ‘cisgender’.

Kerry Kennedy and Andrew Cuomo’s Daughter Has a Popular Spirituality and ‘Healing’ Business

The youngest daughter of the former New York governor has sold hundreds of items on her Etsy shop, MicLovesMe

While former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo‘s political career came to a halt last year amid a sexual harassment investigation he continues to dispute, his daughters — who lived with and assisted him during the COVID-19 pandemic — are staying busy.

Daughter Michaela, for one, has been running a successful online shop that’s sold out of nearly everything.

As spotted by The New York Post, Etsy’s MicLovesMe is the work of the youngest of Cuomo’s three daughters with ex-wife Kerry Kennedy.

According to the online storefront, which places an emphasis on accessories that promote “healing” and “magic,” MicLovesMe has made 440 sales and has an average item review of five-out-of-five stars, with reviews dating back to 2020.

“The single connector between all humans is that we are each unique,” the store’s description reads. “Mic Loves Me imitates the individuality that bridges us all by creating only one-of-a-kind specialty objects. Above all, MicLovesMe is created to empower healing and spread love.”

Items previously sold through the store include $55 “Inspiration Earrings” meant to draw in luck and abundance, a $44 “Bi Bi Bi” clay ring to calm, inspire and “stimulate the root chakra” and a stretch bracelet set that reads “Mask Up, Buttercup” — a nod to the pandemic, which helped propel her father’s national profile.

The only item currently available in the shop is a $5.55, 10-minute guided meditation meant to “begin, conclude or reenergize any time of day.”

In a 2020 interview with PEOPLE, then-Gov. Cuomo spoke about how Michaela and her sisters — twins Mariah and Cara, 27 — had helped assist him during what was then the height of the pandemic in New York state.

Michaela, her dad said, worked with support groups while COVID-19 cases rose, and all three daughters had temporarily moved in to the governor’s mansion in Albany to quarantine together.

“If there’s a silver lining to any of this,” he told PEOPLE at the time, “that’s one.”

Last year, Michaela — a graduate of Brown University — revealed she is demisexual, opening up about her identity on Instagram Live with activist and author Donato Tramuto.

“When I was in elementary school, I feared that I was lesbian. When I was in middle school, I came out to my family and close friends as bisexual. When I was in high school, I discovered pansexuality and thought, ‘That’s the flag for me,’ ” Michaela said then.

Advocates describe demisexuality as individuals who only feel sexually attracted to someone when they have an emotional bond with the person. A demisexual person can be gay, straight, bisexual, or pansexual and can have any gender identity. 

In her Instagram Live appearance last year, Michaela said: “I’ve recently learned more about demisexuality and have believed that that identity resonates with me most.”

During Pride Month, Michaela initially came out as queer in a lengthy Instagram post, encouraging LGBTQ allies to be vocal in their support “by speaking up against homophobia and by actively reaching out to the members of your community who’s sexual expression may be isolating.”

In a statement at the time, then-Gov. Cuomo told PEOPLE: “I love, support and couldn’t have more pride in Michaela.”
