According to democrats we almost lost our democracy on that day

Even tho’ the democrats (notice it’s in their name!) love to talk about our democracy, and so mislead as many people as possible, America is not now nor has ever been a “democracy”. We are in fact a Constitutional Republic with purposefully created institutions that allow our citizens of legal age and residency to vote for their representatives in Congress who, at least among Republicans, are hoped to be the best and brightest among us who can devote their full time to governing in wisdom, with integrity and for the good of the governed.

If we were a “democracy” like the democrats love to intone then we would have everyone, without exception, who is in the country (i.e., legal resident or illegal alien, law abider or felon, adult or child, etc.) directly vote on every issue and law. Direct participation in governance is rule by 50-plus-1 or the polls, whichever moves in their favor, which is essentially mob rule.

But because democrats don’t care about definitions nor reality they will never, ever say Republic. And because they are demagogues and elitists and demon-infested totalitarians what they really want is power, before all time, now and forever.
