My cmnt: I remember this like it was yesterday. Our governor, Bob Kerry, a decorated Navy Seal wounded in Vietnam, lost his mind (and his leg) and became a democrat and a douche bag. Debra wanted to get into politics so badly, like so many Hollywood actresses who realize their lives are wasted, she dated Kerry and lived in our governor’s mansion like a whore. When Kerry announced he was NOT going to run for elected office again, so that the dumb puppy could spend more time having sex with Winger, she promptly dumped him and boarded a plane back to Hollywood so she could ruin someone else’s life – namely Timothy Hutton who was 25 yrs old to Winger’s 30. She said at the time, “Some day Tim will grow into a nice man.”

July 24, 1985 — Debra Winger ticketed in Gov. Kerrey’s car

On July 24, 1985 “Terms of Endearment” Actress Debra Winger was ticketed for speeding in Governor Bob Kerry’s car. After getting the ticket, donors pitched in to buy Winger a used car which was donated to a home for “troubled girls.” Winger and Kerrey dated for several years. Winger even stayed at the Governor’s mansion while Terms of Endearment was filmed in Lincoln.
