Christians Who Opposed Trump Should Examine Their Hearts After His Week Of Big Biblical Wins

Trump’s actions pave the way for Christians to live out obedience to God without the retribution guaranteed by the Biden administration.

My cmnt: Back when Donald J Trump first ran for office in 2015 and then, by the Providence of the Almighty, received the nomination and miraculously defeated that evil witch Hillary and saved His people from the retributive abomination that hateful woman would have unleashed upon us – my son would ask me how, as a biblical Christian, could I possibly support and then vote for (three times now!) this immoral man.

My cmnt: Being my son I gave him a true and honest and biblical answer. First if all eligible Evangelical Christians would simply get off their dead ends and go vote for Republicans we would handily win all national elections. There are only two viable political parties in America and any vote for a third party is a vote taken from a Republican. Democrats are the party of slavery, secession, the cause of the Civil War, racial prejudice, Jim Crow, segregation, lynchings, the originators and main members of the Ku Klux Klan, the welfare state designed by Lyndon Johnson to destroy the Black family, abortion (far more heavily practiced proportionally against Black babies), sexual confusion and perversion, mass invasion by illegal undocumented democrat immigrants, pro-communists, climate alarmists, hypocrites and haters of Israel. No biblical Christian could in good conscience vote for any democrat candidate in a national election.

My cmnt: I am not voting for my pastor or even an elder in the Church, I am voting for the United States President. The Left-Libs tried to make a big deal out of the fact the the great Ronald Reagan was the first divorced President. Even tho’ the sainted JFK was a serial adulterer and the entire Kennedy clan are #MeToo abusers of women and Bill Clinton was a credibly accused rapist and sexual predator and Joe Biden took showers with his daughter and sniffed young girls’ hair and ask inappropriate personal questions and Teddy Kennedy left Mary Jo Kopechne, the young woman he was having an affair with, to drown – Yes, democrats are truly concerned about morality.

My cmnt: I pointed out in 2015 that Trump is most like Samson in the Bible. A Judge raised up by God to deliver his people from the Philistines (i.e., democrats). He was a man who was beguiled by a beautiful woman that led to his downfall. Yet he remained faithful and true to Jehovah and is listed in the Hall of Fame of Faith in Hebrews 11:32-34:

32And what more shall I say? Time will not allow me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets, 33who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34quenched the raging fire, and escaped the edge of the sword; who gained strength from weakness, became mighty in battle, and put foreign armies to flight.

Only 10 days into President Donald Trump’s second term it’s abundantly clear that Christians who opposed his presence in the White House and condemned their brethren for supporting it have some repenting to do.

Never Trumpers spent the last decade weaponizing their faith to demonize Christian Trump supporters. By the time the 2024 election rolled around, they had proudly endorsed the radical, openly anti-Christian Joe Biden stand-in for president. According to them, mean tweets and a bad spray tan were far worse than a regime that made a point out of throwing praying grandmas in prison.

Concerns about Trump’s personal conduct 10 years into his entrance to American politics are simply not a legitimate reason to oppose his presidency — especially when juxtaposed with the Biblical wins his presidential actions have brought. Pretending that his penchant for off-the-cuff commentary and history of failed marriages are disqualifying was always a bad argument because most politicians, especially the Biden and Harris families, are the complete opposite of upstanding, moral folks.

Thankfully for the country, Christian and secular voters alike didn’t buy the propaganda. And because Trump won in November, current people of faith and future followers of Christ are better off. Look at his first week back in the White House for proof.

The Republican kicked off his second administration by freeing political prisoners, including the faithful pro-lifers who were thrown in prison for peacefully worshipping and praying at abortion facilities. He followed that with a sweeping executive order condemning and defunding the forced mutilation and sterilization of children.

This week, he’s expected to sign another order that emboldens parents frustrated with the evil plaguing the taxpayer-funded education system to choose better schooling for their children. Trump even restored and enforced U.S. border policies, without which we saw countless victims of crimes committed by violent border crossers.

Contrary to the corporate media and Democrat smears dominating front pages, Trump prioritized the least of these in the best ways possible. Valuing the sanctity of life beginning at conception, embracing the gift of being created man or woman in God’s image with no cosmetic modification necessary, training children in the way they should go, and seeking justice for those robbed of livelihoods and life are not simply guidance for professing Christians. They are mandates that detail the best way to reap the benefits of God’s design.

Trump’s recent slew of executive orders don’t simply pave the way for Christians to live out their obedience to God without the retribution that the Biden administration guaranteed. They also open the door for the redemption of some of the most corrupt and sinful policies this nation has ever endured. Every Christian should want that and consequently vote for it.

Yet, there are still naysayers promulgating the idea that Trump’s execution of policies that align with the Word of God are wrong and should be scrutinized as such. It’s important to note that these voices were exceptionally quiet when the Biden administration perverted justice beyond belief. They even turned a blind eye when Harris not only committed to carrying out that mission but centered her campaign on one of the great injustices of all time — the mass murder of the unborn.

Christ-followers are indeed called to be faithful regardless of who is president. But Christians who donate to, promote, and vote for candidates who proudly assault the kingdom of God are undoubtedly complicit in that attack.

It’s no mistake that Jesus’ declaration that only those who do the will of God enter the kingdom of Heaven was preceded by a warning against false prophets who come to believers disguised in sheep’s clothing. The state of the fruit is how one recognizes the condition of the tree, and the fruit this first week has proved to be exceptionally good and sweet.

  1. It is the poison of pluralism – that is idolatry – that ultimately was the beginning of the dissention many years further back. Either what’s good for me and commanded by God is good for everyone, whether they want to live fully in it or not, or it isn’t. There is no other option. Those who secretly enjoyed the era of multiculturalism were in danger of drinking the waters of mixed beliefs that ultimately lead to apostasy. There are a number who still believe repentance and grace are only good for those who are benefiting from it eternally rather than for everyone. Even today toppling the idol of pluralism will upset quite a few people and especially mainstream leaders of religious thought. Jesus has no intention of forever allowing the life he gives to be just a program run inside a bigger system when he is offering an operating principle of life on which to run everything. Those who run the program of belief and those who do not but run their own life inside his operating system live lives blessed by God. The former do so to eternal life; the latter do so to their knwoledge of goodness here.
