Everyone’s heard of this:
You get what you pay for.
Well, my experience – especially since O’Biden stole office in 2020 and we’ve been living thru Jimmy Carter levels of inflation – has been that that is not exactly true anymore.
Here’s the new adage that should sweep the nation (and the world):
We all know that you don’t get what you don’t pay for. That’s always been true. But now we can also say: You don’t get what you do pay for either.
With shrink-flation, a distinct new element caused by BidenFlation, we’ve all seen the product size or amount become mysteriously, noticeably smaller, and often in the same size of packaging.
To hold down the price of Special K cereal they have taken the typical 12 oz box and made it into a 9.5 oz with the same previous price and box size.
And restaurants, which the damn democrats purposefully ruined (since a majority of small business owners vote Republican) during their Covid-19 hype (We’re all gonna die!!), have been struggling to survive as we try to convince teenage girls they’re NOT going to die from public contact as they were misled to believe in 2020 and 2021. Restaurants are having a very hard time maintaining the quality of their food and preparation while fighting Covid misinformation AND BidenFlation. So my wife and I have noticed, to our dismay, that even when you pay extra high prices for a good meal, it still often sucks.
So our new adage for our times is: You don’t get what you don’t pay for and you don’t get what you do pay for either.
