My cmnt: Losing a child at any stage of life is the most heartbreaking trauma a parent can endure. The pain and sorrow this poor woman and her family are suffering now has to be nearly unbearable. Prayers for her, her family and her child.

My cmnt: The Left-leaning, democrat-run Journal Star is careful to use weasel words when reporting on this horrible tragedy. You will note that it is NOT the LJS calling this a death of an “unborn child” but rather it is the “Lincoln Police Department.” Also the LJS is careful to say it was a “pregnant female passenger” using the totally redundant adjective “female” when we all obviously know that only a “female” passenger could possibly be pregnant. This redundancy is to placate the looney left who have been insisting that a “man” can also get pregnant.

My cmnt: Can you imagine if the LJS were to say what they really think of this tragic situation? “Police misnomered an unviable tissue mass today using the culturally weighted term “child.” Sensitivity training has been mandated. None of the passengers died and no person was injured. Thank the Universe for that. The chestfeeding, birthing person came out of the incident whole as the parasite inside ceased to drain nutrients from of its host.

A crash near downtown Lincoln on Friday afternoon resulted in the death of an unborn child, according to the Lincoln Police Department.

At about 2:30 p.m., emergency crews were called to the intersection of South 16th and E streets on a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2017 Kia Optima and a 2021 Chevy Malibu. The Kia Optima had been traveling south on 16th Street when it collided with the Chevy Malibu, which was traveling west on E Street through the intersection.

A pregnant female passenger who was in the Kia Optima was transported to a local hospital. Emergency procedures continued at the hospital, and the child was pronounced dead shortly after an emergency delivery.

Officers remained on the scene investigating Friday evening. The identities of those involved were not released Friday.

      • Brad Christian I may not have worded that very well. I agree with you , Tragic! I am 100% Pro Life. My point was to the liberal leftists, and was intended to sound totally out of line. Sarcasm, pointed at the left. One must understand, that many on the left, are not saddened by a tragic event such as this. Many feel that if a tragic event such as this does not occur, then we will be forced to eliminate un born children through any and all means necessary, as often as necessary, and that these takings of lives is merely a part of life. Abortion policy in the US aligns mostly, and very closely with China and North Korea. Even the crazy Muslim world that kills Christians and Jews for simply being alive, are pro life to the unborn.
