Ex-Harvard president Claudine Gay with her patented wide-eyed gopher look that she learned so as to act like she’s paying attention and understands the question but is really totally clueless

Claudine Gay should’ve been given the boot when her appalling testimony before the House Committee on Education and the Workforce created an intense backlash regarding how college heads were dealing with the explosion of antisemitic activity on their respective campuses. Since the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip in the aftermath of Hamas’ brutal October 7 attacks, left-wing activists and pro-Hamas students have been harassing Jewish students daily. The rallies on these campuses have called for the wholesale killing of Jews.  

Gay said these incidents are considered on a case-by-case. It cost Liz Magill, who was also at the hearing, her job as president at UPenn. Instead, it took the one thing even liberal academia couldn’t ignore: plagiarism. Gay faced dozens of accusations of plagiarism, misattribution of credit in her work, and outright shoddy research, as in the case of her 2001 research paper, which got her tenure tracked at Stanford. Ms. Gay’s academic career is soaked in controversy, if not outright fraud. She’s gone, but she’s taking something massive with her: an $800,000 salary (via NY Post):

Outgoing Harvard President Claudine Gay will still likely earn nearly $900,000 a year despite being forced to resign her position as the school’s top administrator. 

Political Science professor Gay — who stepped down amid a tempest of allegations she did not do enough to combat antisemitism and academic plagiarism Tuesday — will now return to a position on the Cambridge, Mass., school’s faculty. 

Prior to being named president just six months ago, Gay earned $879,079 as a Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean in 2021 and $824,068 in 2020, according to records published by the university. 

Her new position was not specified Tuesday, but she is expected to receive a salary comparable with what she previously received — if not higher.

The point is there’s no accountability. The narrative regarding Harvard and a female black president meant the rules could be ignored. Are we shocked? No. Liz Magill is no longer president at UPenn but is still employed with its law school. If I were in academia and besieged with plagiarism allegations like Gay, knowing I had the chance to make $800k at my next gig, I’d resign, too. Where’s the headache? There is none, adding to the other narrative here: it pays to be a Democrat. You can lie, cheat, steal—get caught—and still make more money in a year than most Americans make in their lifetime.

Claudine Gay is the new face of Harvard and the new low level to which they have fallen. Any student who would sign up to take a course with this fraud is more stupid than she is.

She was Harvard’s President for about 6 months. Not quite 2 semesters. A complete, abject DEI failure. She’d have been gone a month earlier if Harvard’s board held her to the same standards that Penn’s board held its president. Oh wait – Penn’s president is white. Any student who wants to take a course from a serial plagiarist who can only play the race card because the competence card isn’t in play is indeed stupid.

The 30%+ of Americans that think Biden is doing a good job is a start for the stupid pool.

Never mind signing up to take her course. Why sink 300k into a Harvard bs degree considering lying and stealing others ideas and writings are acceptable behavior. I predict they will have to can her completely if they ever hope to rebuild a rep. And replace the billions she cost them.

Why would anyone send their kids to a craphole like Harvard anyway?

A craphole that sits within a craphole – Cambridge, MA. Ever been there? BTW, MIT, home of Claudine’s fellow Hamas apologist Sally Kornbluth, is also located in Cambridge. A town where you want to be home behind locked doors when the sun goes down.

Gay is living proof she is not as smart as others who are more qualified for the job and were
willing to do the work. She is the poster bimbo for what a failure affirmative action really is.
She expects equal treatment but equal work and equal applied ability are not on the table for
her because that affirmative action is her crutch that she must have because it appears she is NOT
nearly as smart as she thinks she is

WHAT?!? This leftist witch is not “out at Harvard,” at all. As a proven loyal, woke, USA-hating, Leftist, she has a guaranteed “position” at Harvard raking in almost a Million $ per year, for as long as she lives. THAT is this Jew-despising, terrorist-supporting, “woman’s” punishment for serial plagiarism and blatant antisemitism.

So Ms. Gay “earned” her PhD degree through fraud – but it has not been “clawed back” as unearned?
She will remain as a PoliSci professor having earned a PhD with 2 box tops from Corn Pops cereal?
Harvard will pay her $2,408/day 365 days per year despite doing that for which a student would be expelled?

Quick quiz: you’re a parent whose kid is off to Harvard in the fall. Will you allow your kid to enroll in her class?

Harvard basically is saying that they are fine with Gay’s views, ethics, etc., …..but the optics are bad outside of the hyper-woke world they live in. So they keep her on board in a less public role. There is no awareness of just how objectionable Gay and Harvard’s arrogance is, or how they can continue down the same racist path with no remorse whatsoever.

So, she fell into a bucket of Schiff and still came out with pockets full of loot. I thought Hahvids were smarter than that. Oh, wait, nepotism, since they’re all related in grifting.
