A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
The Hamas was no match for an intrepid 25-year-old Israeli woman — who saved an entire kibbutz from harm by leading a group of residents to kill more than two dozen advancing terrorists, including five she slaughtered herself.
Inbar Lieberman, the security coordinator of Kibbutz Nir Am since December 2022, heard explosions early Saturday, when the terrorists launched their unprecedented attack on the Jewish state, according to Walla News.
She realized that the sounds were different than those heard during the usual rocket attacks on the kibbutz — located near Sderot and a stone’s throw from the Gaza Strip.
So Lieberman rushed to open the armory, distributed guns to the 12-member security team and coordinated their decisive response amid the unfolding attack.
She placed her squad of kibbutzniks in strategic positions across the settlement and set up ambushes that caught the gunmen off guard and turned the tables on them during their mission to inflict mass casualties.
Lieberman killed five terrorists by herself, while the others gunned down 20 more over four hours as they turned Nir Am into an impenetrable fortress — while nearby kibbutzim suffered heavy losses, Walla News reported.

Ilit Paz, cultural coordinator at Nir Am, told the news outlet Israel Hayom: “It was amazing. My husband was part of the standby unit that worked to prevent more casualties.
“They heard the shots and made contact on their own with other members of the standby unit and with Inbal — and they understood that they were told to be on standby.
“But Inbal made a decision not to wait and be jumped operationally. In fact, the fact that they did it early prevented dozens of casualties,” she added.
A social media post also lavished praise on the heroic woman, the Maariv daily reported.
“When it’s all over, this woman will receive the Israel Prize. The story of her heroism is a story that will go down in Israeli lore for generations. Inbal is the reason there is one kibbutz in the entire surrounding area that remains unharmed — Nir Am,” the post said.
At least 900 people have died and 2,600 others have been injured in Israel, according to the most recent numbers.
Israeli Woman Who Helped Save a Kibbutz: ‘I’m Not a Hero, I Wasn’t There by Myself’
‘I hope you won’t have too much to do,’ Inbal Lieberman was told when she first took the post of security coordinator for Nir Am less than a year ago
Inbal Lieberman doesn’t want to be everybody’s heroine. She refuses to grant interviews, rebuffing the attention. She would like to remove the crown placed on her head by the masses online. Like many others living in the vicinity of Gaza, Lieberman just wants a little peace of mind and a safe space to grieve.
Most residents of the kibbutz overheard the fighting unfolding from their shelters and safe rooms.
“It was a long battle,” Ofer Liberman said, noting that at one point he made his daughter an omelet sandwich during the ordeal, Haaretz said.
The battle subsided when soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces ultimately ambushed the Hamas militants, according to the news outlet.
Saar Paz, a Nir Am resident part of the neighborhood watch group, called Inbal Liberman’s quick-thinking to “distribute weapons and station us across the village, although the official directives were simply to stand by” a “game-changer,” Israel Today reported.
Inbal Liberman spoke out in an Instagram post in the aftermath, saying that she is “not a hero,” Haaretz reported.
“I’m still digesting everything that I’m going through, which is why I’m not telling the real story yet. I promise you will hear from me,” Inbal Liberman wrote. “There are so many people on the ground, still fighting for their lives, and there are still many who fought beside me and around me.”
The assault by Hamas has already left more than 1,000 dead in Israel, with many more injured, Israeli officials have said.
As a result of the attacks, Israel declared war on Hamas, launching retaliatory strikes in Gaza, killing more than 1,000 Palestinians, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.

Kibbutz savior: Inbal Rabin Lieberman
Her quick thinking and bravery helped prevent Hamas from killing any member of kibbutz Nir Am on the Gaza border during the initial attack.

Just turned 26, combat veteran Inbal Rabin Lieberman serves as the security coordinator of Kibbutz Nir Am, near the Gaza border.
On the morning of October 7, swarms of heavily armed terrorists from Gaza infiltrated 22 kibbutzim and other communities in the area, killing hundreds.
But nobody was killed at Nir Am, thanks to Lieberman’s fast actions.
She’d been alerted by the Israel Defense Forces at 6:30am to awaken her 12-person security team. She and her uncle, Ami Rabin, the previous security coordinator, did much more.
They distributed weapons to members of the team and instructed them to take up positions at the gate of the kibbutz. They then went house to house, making sure Nir Am’s families were sheltered in fortified rooms.
Shortly afterwards, a dozen terrorists approached the kibbutz and at least three were shot dead immediately. They prevented the others from entering, holding out against the infiltrators for about three and a half hours until IDF soldiers arrived.
Tragically and ironically, seven Gazan workers in the kibbutz’s nearby orange grove were killed by the terrorists.
Lieberman, her family, and the rest of the kibbutzniks were evacuated at 3am the next day to a hotel in Tel Aviv. Mayor Ran Huldai came to meet her.
“Inbal is a heroine,” Huldai wrote on Facebook. “Her story, which is being published everywhere, leaves no one indifferent — for her coolness, courage and bravery. Thanks to Inbal, dozens of lives have been saved. Thanks to her, Kibbutz Nir Am was saved.”
Hurrah for a modern day Jael. Whoever married her did right. Shame on the men higher-up on command who weren’t prepared.
